Cash App, published by Block, Inc., maintained a steady increase in downloads, starting the quarter at 351K and peaking at 446K in early December. Weekly active users fluctuated throughout the quarter, with a starting point of around 9.6M and reaching over 10M towards the end of December.
Venmo experienced a similar ebb and flow in downloads, beginning at 262K and reaching a high of 315K in early December. Although the weekly active users saw a slight decline from 11.7M to 9.7M by the quarter's close, Venmo remained a strong contender in the market.
